Menus.
- Files are saved in plain text file format (.txt).
- Editing a saved file can cause the loose of the file.
- When openning a previously saved file, "open" option will load the file in the current "Tab".
- "Open new tab" option will append a new "tab" and load the file to this new tab.
- The last "Edit" menu option has the history of all outstanding actions of the current session. Selecting a previous action of the dropdown list will return the session to that previous instant. This dropdown actions' history list is nothing else than a "Do" - "Redo" action list.
- In the "View" menu, the "Lock" option will freeze/unfreeze the upper dessign window. It's a good idea to "Lock" a network when finished its dessign, so components will not move from the target position avoiding execution errors that would cause the graphic to dissapear.
- When a execution error occurs, graphic stops its layout. To resume, review the network for errors (unplugged wires, components with a zero value, etc.), eventualy repair and click on "Redraw" in the "View" menu.
- Having two or more "tab" pages (i.e. more than one current network), there is the possibility to see overlapped graphics by checking the corresponding option in the "Overlap" menu.
Design.
- In the upper dessign window, there are two context menus (right button).
- If the mouse is not near a wire/component the context menu will allow to add wires/components.
- Near a wire or component the is a second context menu to convert from/to wires/components.
- Important: always conect wires and componets to any of both ends, never to the middle or inside (take special care of this when managing with wires).
- Existing connections are always numbered, starting from 0, in blue color.
- If there are components with connections left out, the graphics will not show.
