Hello, I'm Xavier. Although I'm retired, programming remains a passion and a favorite hobby of mine.
I’ve been programming since the 1970s, starting out with HP Basic and Fortran. Over the years, I've continued
to evolve my skills, and in 2003-2004, I ventured into .NET programming, where I found new opportunities to explore and create.
Before retiring, I worked as a software programmer collaborator for Nixdorf Computer, which was later acquired by Siemens.
There, I enhanced the "Nix routines", a set of templates that significantly improved file access programming
and allowed developers to avoid starting from scratch. I also developed two original projects for my thesis,
which was unfortunately undermined when a change in Swiss law reshaped the school and its degrees to worthless.
I find joy in solving problems and bringing ideas to life through code, which keeps me engaged and constantly learning.
Currently, I balance developing applications —some of them math-related— with my ongoing challenge of
understanding patterns in completely random distributions, a puzzle I have been tackling for years.
If you're interested, feel free to explore my latest projects

I’m always open to connecting with fellow enthusiasts or anyone with feedback or suggestions for my projects. Don’t hesitate to reach out!
